Hi, I’m Melinda.
I am a busy Mum and live with my beautiful family in Noosa Heads. Every day I look for balance in my health, happiness, commitments and well-being of my family with the help of kinesiology.
Being able to offer this practice to others is a blessing for me. I am passionate about using the techniques to help myself and others to move past blocks and towards what is important and inspiring in their lives.
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) majoring in psychology, I moved into the corporate environment; marketing for funds management companies.
Mostly spurred by curiosity, I went to my first kinesiology session. I was mystified at first and then inspired by the experience. The session sparked my interest in the practice and led me to explore energetic therapies at a cellular, emotional and spiritual level. It added another dimension to what I had previously known and studied.
Having studied brain function, childhood learning and development, I learnt how to muscle test, allowing me to access the body’s ‘energetic intelligence’. I was shown how all facets of a person’s daily life interrelates and gives cause to how he/she is feeling and experiencing – ‘mind, body and spirit’ together. Not just the one-sided view I held previously.
Most importantly, I also discovered that what we tell ourselves impacts our health …..
Our ‘self-talk’ comes from the responses that helped us survive our childhood as well as from our family and cultural values. These survival responses mould our beliefs and form the basis of our subconscious programs.
Most of the choices we make every day are based on these programs. Our choices lead to our behaviour and daily habits – which at times, are not beneficial and can lead to stress on our emotional and physical well-being. Using kinesiology techniques, I can help you to ‘rewrite’ old programmes to shift where the body is holding the stress, clear perceived blocks and inspire you to move forward to achieving your goals.
